This site has been going for a long time - before Friends Reunited - but I am afraid I have not updated it for a long time either.

However, I have been asked to try and find some 'old girls' for some other 'old girls' - can you help?

There are two pages that may take a while to load as they are rather large.
One is Class Photos, (the first page of Photo Gallery)
and the other
Plans of the New Apartments (about the 3rd page of School Now)

My name was Janet Robinson and I left the school in 1964 after a year in the Study Circle and almost 10 years at the school. As I help to organise little reunions (I have remained in contact with both pupils and staff) people seem to think I must know the whereabouts of every "Old girl" in existence and have asked me to find various people, so I decided to have a Web Page to try to contact various "Old Girls" (this was before Friends Reunited). L-R: Liz Seagal, Mandy Mason, Liz Davenport This Web Page has now turned into a Web Site and I am open to any input you might like to send to me - photos, letters, cuttings.

If this is your first visit to the site - read on - but if you have been here before you can click on "Updated Pages" which contains letters from you and others, as I add them to the site.

Please use the buttons at the top of the page to find your way around the site. I would like some input into the "Letters" page from you. I have started it off, although I find me a bit boring. The button called "School Now" is a 360 degree picture of the school during autumn 2001 whilst being transformed into apartments. To view the panoramic view you need Javascript enabled within your Microsoft Explorer - if you can't view it, just go there and then to Next Page which will take you to an updated (to Spring 2002) page of still photos. I also have added a page with all the layouts of the apartments and a price list. "Where are you?" is just what it infers - but can you help me find some of the named people? "Staff" is all I know about the staff who were there when I was there and some I didn't know at all, plus a bit extra about one member of staff I knew very well and remained in touch with until she and her husband both passed away.

People I meet up with regularly are Liz Edgell, Ginny Garner, Liz Genders, Fruma Green, Carol Middleton, Jennifer Ranson, Val Woods and Suki Wright. Please pass the message on to those you are in touch with, to look at the site and e-mail me with information they would like to share about themselves and other and to encourage those without computers to go and look at someone elses?

A lot of the staff have now passed on and indeed I went to two funeral services within an hour of each other - "Miss Bevan" and "Miss Nucator" at Chichester Crematorium, where I met a number of staff. "Miss Lishman" who is still living in Arundel and keeps an eye on the old place along with "Miss Evans" who sent me information about the new building working, now apartments. "Miss Doyle" and "Miss Mullay" were also there. I was also in touch with "Miss Allen" regularly, until she died in 2001. In 1982 we discovered that her brother-in-law lived next door to my mother-in-law, so their nephew and my husband grew up as next door neighbours and even joined the Post Office at the same time - what a small world!

The photograph above was taken at Carol Middleton's 50th Birthday Party - Carol is the one in the chair and the rest of us surrounding her were of course all 50 around the same time. Apart from those of you in the photograph - do you know who we all are? I am sorry, but there are no prizes for guessing. And do you know who the three "girls" in the black and white photograph are? Again, no prizes but if you let your mouse hover over the pictures their names should appear.

Please DO let people you are in touch with know about the site, then we might be able to find those elusive "girls" we would like to contact and the site can spread a little further than my newsletters of late. I say "girls" because I am sure we are still all still young at heart!

If you spend quite a time looking through our pages and really need to go Broadband try:
